I live in Puerto Rico and this is my rendition of our national tree. The deep red and orange blossoms of the Royal Poinciana are breathtaking and unlike any other tree that one will ever see. On the island it's referred to as the Flamboyan Tree. Program used: Corel Painter. Available in prints, iPhone and cellular phone cases. Watermark will not appear. All rights Reserved.

Ha yes That was many years ago! I'm in my 20's now. I was sent to an adult art studio at age 11 and sold my first piece of art at age 10! =) and now I'm back in business.. this is my fav piece you have. Its very unique. love the colors! =)

Hi Alice. Thanks for commenting on my stuff. I was going to let you know about my site once I was done uploading, which will be still a few more days. I love this picture of the Flamboyán. This is blooming time for the Flamboyanes (Royal Poincianas here), and I'm constantly reminded of Puerto Rico while driving around and looking at all the beautiful trees in bloom.
