Description
A vintage tea set in an antique cupboard reminiscent of the past. No longer used very much in today's fast paced world. Photo taken at the former home of the famous Serralles family in Ponce, Puerto Rico who make Don Q rum. This was probably a gift to the bridal couple.
Available in prints, note cards, throw pillows, tote bags and cell phone cases.

Beautiful, Alice!! I wish I knew the maker..so many fine china, porcelain, bone china producers used common decals, some hand painted copies...nevertheless, a gorgeous porcelain or china set! My best friend and I alternate setting the morning tea table with a preheated and perfectly steeped “eight cupper” vintage bone china teapotful of Assam...EVERYDAY! There is something “centering” about beginning one’s day in that fashion laying out the days errands and daily rounds. Would everyone do so, there would be more productivity, less anxiety and little need for therapists...”healing” happens at tea! We serve several “cream teas” and “low teas” for friends in need throughout the year. No matter how heavy the burden, everyone leaves our teas smiling and awaiting the next. Thank you so much for your beautiful entry! Best to you.

Thank you Laurel. I enjoy going to Tea shops & lunches also. I took this photo at the home of former sugar baron Serrarles family in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I'm sure it was a very expensive and rare set. Probably given as a wedding or anniversary gift decades ago.
